“Hygiene Flow Systems” Air Showers are self- contained chambers installed at entrances to clean rooms and other controlled environments. They minimize particulate matter entering or exiting the clean space. Personnel and materials entering or exiting the controlled environment are “scrubbed” by high velocity HEPA-filtered air jets with velocities of 24-26m/s (5500-6000fpm). Contaminated air is then drawn complete the base within the unit filtered and recirculated.
A force that supplies the sufficient scrubbing action necessary to remove particulate matter Interlocking doors prevent unnecessary contamination inflow and cross- contamination of the cleanroom, the air shower or tunnel. They automatically release in the event of a power failure ensuring operator safety. Fluorescent lighting, built into the ceiling allows unimpeded air circulation and ensures full visibility. Also, an emergency stop button on each air shower releases the door lock for exiting.
